Terms of Service

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Teachers must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction.

2. The Service

HUSH provides tools for teachers to collect anonymous student confusion and generate reteach plans. Features, limits, and pricing may change over time. We provide reasonable notice for material changes.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, illegal content, security testing without written permission, scraping, or using HUSH to build a competing product.

4. Content ownership

• You retain ownership of the content you and your students submit.
• You grant HUSH a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service.
• Teachers are responsible for having the right to collect and use the questions students submit through their class portals.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Free trials convert to paid plans unless canceled before the trial ends.
• Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.
• Prices exclude taxes unless stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

6. AI outputs

AI-generated reteach plans and confusion maps are informational aids for the instructor. HUSH does not guarantee accuracy. The teacher is responsible for reviewing AI output before sharing it with students.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create legal risk, or repeatedly abuse the Service. You may close your account at any time by emailing hush.org@outlook.com or through the account settings.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. HUSH is not a system of record for grades or official coursework.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HUSH's total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify HUSH against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We will post updates to this page. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
