Standards we target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort — we track known issues and work them into each release.

What we do today

• Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy and landmarks.
• Keyboard-navigable interfaces with visible focus indicators.
• Sufficient color contrast for text and UI controls.
• Alt text on informative images and ARIA labels on icon-only buttons.
• Responsive layouts that scale from mobile to desktop and support browser zoom.
• Respect for prefers-reduced-motion where animations are used.

Known gaps we are working on

• Full screen-reader testing across every dashboard flow.
• High-contrast theme option.
• Complete keyboard shortcuts documentation.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email hush.org@outlook.com with a description of the issue, the page URL, and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
